Jason MacLean began teaching yoga in 2000. Jason turned to yoga with hopes to heal his chronic lower back pain. As the practice became a daily part of his lifestyle, he quickly realized that there was so much more to the practice than just the physical benefits. Since then the enthusiasm to learn about the many tools and techniques of yoga has spun him around the globe a couple of times in persuit of both traditional and modern teachings and studying with renowned teachers and yogis in India, Mexico, England, and Thailand.
Jason is a mixed lineage 550 E-RYT Yoga Teacher, offering classroom style and private instruction in New Brunswick and abroad. His areas of specialization include, Ashtanga, Vinyasa, Yin, Kundalini, Thai Yoga Massage, Yoga Nidra, Kids Yoga, Chair Yoga, Yoga as Therapy. Jason and his wife Stephanie regularly host 200 hour Yoga Alliance Yoga Teacher Trainings in Rothesay and offer specialized workshops on yoga and meditation.
Jason has always been passionate about practicing yoga because it can be both challenging and accessible to everyone. Jason brings an enthusiasm for yoga and life to his teaching and always ensures that his clients are comfortable and cared for. Everyday he seeks to share the tools and the gift that was given to him- Yoga as a way to discover and appreciate one's true self.
